Still riding the high of a national tv debut
I’m going to be honest with you, as always. I’m battling writer’s block, haven’t been sleeping well (maybe because Pete (2) rolls around in my bed and grinds his teeth), and I’ve been #bookedandbusy with acting and modeling almost to the point of burnout. It’s one of those moments where I keep asking myself, Can I really do it all? Be at home with my kids, write, act, model, and pursue every creative whim that calls to me?
The truth is, when I get down to it, I genuinely believe I can. Some might call me "delulu," but honestly…believing I can is the only way any of this works.
Because I’m too braindead for words, please enjoy this Instagram reel that took me way too long to make. It’s from my day on the set of Chicago PD, where I played a nurse.
If you want to watch it, the episode aired last week on Peacock—Season 12, Episode 4. My scene is right after the opening title. You can’t miss it! (Actually, you can because it’s super short.) But I promise I have lines. My lovely scene partner is just screaming over them. Rightfully so. You’ll see.
